This patch program contains the patch files and install program necessary for
upgrading the MFL Pro software for the MFC 4450/4550 to be Year 2000 Compliant.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL

Note:
Before you can install the patch program, you must first have the original
MFL Pro software which was packed with your MFC 4450/4550 machine installed
on your PC. If you do not, please install the MFL Pro software which originally
came with your MFC and make sure that all MFL Pro software functions are working.

1. Download UPGRADE.EXE into your PC.
   
   
2. Re-Start Windows.
   
   Note:
   Do not run the original MFL Pro software after the Re-Starting.
   Make sure that the Brother Resource Manager is not running.
   
   
3. Run "UPGRADE.EXE". Follow the instructions on the screen.

If you wish to delete the MFL Pro software from your PC, you must
follow the instruction as below.

1. Open the Brother MFL Pro program group.

2. Double click on the Uninstall program.
   Follow the instructions provided by the uninstall program

3. Re-Start Windows.

4. Delete the Brother MFL Pro software directories.
   (Usually, delete c:\BRMFLPRO)
   
   Note:
   After the un-install operation, if you wish to re-install the Brother
   MFL Pro software you MUST delete all MFL Pro directories. MFL Pro software
   will not install properly if you do not delete these directories.
