HOW TO UPGRADE
1. Uninstall drivers
- Disconnect the USB cable from the MFC9870.
- Run the MSDOS prompt from Windows Start-Program.
- Change the directory to CD-ROM drive of your PC. (ie. If your CD-ROM drive is "D", enter "D:\" and press Enter the key.)
- Enter "win98usb\disk1\brmflpnp.exe" and press the Enter key.
2. Download and extract the file
- Make a temporary directory on your HDD to download and save the self-extracting file "9870usb.exe".
- Double click on the file to extract it.
3. Install the upgrade driver
(CONNECT THE PC TO MFC9870 BY USB CABLE)
- Connect the PC to MFC9870 by USB cable, the Plug and Play installation
will start.
