Driver upgrade for Windowsreg; 2000

Please follow the steps below:

1. Uninstall the current driver.
2. Install the new driver.

If you upgraded to Windows® 2000 from Windows® 95/98, you MUST delete the existing printer driver from your system before you upgrade. When you have done the upgrade to Windows® 2000 , re-install the Windows® 2000 driver.

To delete the Windows ®95/98 driver perform the following steps:

Uninstall the printer driver from Windows ®95/98 using the supplied driver's disk.

1. Make sure that the computer is on.
2. Click the Start and select Run.
3. Insert the supplied disk for Windows ®95/98 into your floppy disk drive: (drive A in most cases)
4. Type A:\SETUP and choose OK or press Enter key.
5. Select Uninstall that appears on the screen, and click OK.
6. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen.
7. When the drivers have been removed uninstallation is complete, remove the disk from the drive.
8. Restart your computer.

For Windows NT® 4.0 users 

If you upgraded to Windows® 2000 from Windows NT® 4.0, you MUST delete the printer driver that you installed when you configured your NT® 4.0 system BEFORE you attempt to print. When you have upgraded to Windows® 2000, install the Windows® 2000 printer driver.

To delete the printer driver from Windows NT® 4.0, perform the following steps: 

1. Click Start and select Printers in Settings.
2. Delete the appropriate printer driver.
3. Restart your computer.

To upgrade the new drivers to Windows® 2000, perform the following steps:

1. Download the driver and the readme:
   
   
   1. Please make a temporary directory on your HDD to save the downloaded self-extracting file.
      e.g. C:\brodrv 
   2. Click the DOWNLOAD to start downloading the driver.
   3. Select the temporary directory as where to store the downloaded file
   4. Extract the file.
   5. Click the PDF file to download the Readme.
