Please be sure to have "Restore Factory
Defaults" operation after updating the main firmware from an older
version than V3.50. Refer to your network board user's guide for how
to do "Restore Factory defaults".
BR Administration 32 bits version also allows you to have this operation.
- Run the BR Administration 32 bits version.
- Select one from NC-2010h, NC-2010p and NC-2100h
- Open [Control menu] --> [Configure Device] --> [Configure Dialog].
- Click [Control] tab and press the [Restore Factory Defaults]
button.
As the configurations you made will be cleared and return to the
factory defaults, please re-configure your network board.
For
NC-2010h users
When updating the NC-2010h firmware, your printer might indicate
"MIO ERROR" and soon it will show "Now Initializing". Even if you
see these messages, PLEASE DO NOT POWER OFF THE PRINTER and leave
it for a while with power on as the firmware update is correctly
executed.
Upon finishing the firmware update, the printer will make himself
online automatically. Please make sure that the NC-2010h has updated
with the new firmware by using BRAdmin32. Once you could confirm
the new firmware version, you can power off the printer.

Please check the
version of your Network Board.
**You can find the version at the pink
colored circle portion.=>
If the version of your network board is "D", it is
NOT necessary to download and install this new Firmware.
If you use this firmware (Ver 3.62) for Version D network board,
then you may experience problems with the network board . |
