
HOW TO INSTALL PRINTER DRIVER FOR WINDOWS2000
(FOR MFC8300 USB INTERFACE USERS)
FOR MFC8300 USB USER
- Please make a temporary directory on your Hard Disk Drive to save the downloaded self-extracting file.
e.g. C:\8300drv
- Click "DOWNLOAD" to start downloading. To store the downloaded file
select the temporary directory you created.
- Double click on the downloaded self-extracting file.
The driver files will be placed in the "USB_DRV/Ver100/USA" directory.
- Make sure that the MFC is turned on and connect the MFC to PC's USB interface.
The Windows Plug and Play(PNP) service will find the MFC.
- Click "Next".

- Click "Next".

- Check only "Specify a location" and click "Next".

- Click "Browse".

- Open the specified directory and click "Ver100","usa" and "Open".

- Click "OK".

- Click "Next".

- Click "Finish".

- Click "Next".

- Click "Next".

- Check only "Specify a location" and click "Next".

- Click "OK".

- Click "Next".

- The "Digital Signature Not Found" screen appears. Microsoft WHQL"Windows Hardware Quality Lab"
provides Digital Signatures for drivers which pass the vigorous tests.
Brother is in the process of applying for WHQL certification. To continue Install, click "Yes".

- Click "Finish".

- Click "Next".

- Click "Next".

- Check only "Specify a location" and click "Next".

- Click "OK".

- Click "Next".
