HOW TO INSTALL PRINTER/SCANNER DRIVER FOR WINDOWS2000
(FOR DCP1200 PARALLEL INTERFACE USERS)

1. Please make a temporary directory on your Hard Disk Drive to save the downloaded self-extracting file.
   e.g. C:\DCP1200DRV
2. Click "DOWNLOAD" to start downloading. To store the downloaded file select the temporary directory you created.
3. Double click on the downloaded self-extracting file. The driver files will be placed in the "3in1/Ver100" directory.
4. Connect the MFC to PC by Parallel Cable and restart Windows.
5. Click "Next".
   
   
   
   
   
6. Click "Next".
   
   
   
   
   
7. Check only "Specify a location" and click "Next".
   
   
   
   
   
8. Click "Browse".
   
   
   
   
   
9. Open the specified directory and click "Ver100" and "Open".
   
   
   
   
   
10. Click "OK".
    
    
    
    
    
11. Click "Next".
    
    
    
    
    
12. The "Digital Signature Not Found" screen appears.
    Microsoft WHQL"Windows Hardware Quality Lab" provides Digital Signatures for drivers which pass the vigorous tests.
    Brother is in the process of applying for WHQL certification. To continue Install, click "Yes".
    
    
    
    
    
13. Click "Finish".
    
    
    
    
    
14. Double click on the downloaded "Zlfb3usa.exe" file in the specified directory.
    e.g.c:\DCP1200DRV\
    
15. Double click on the "Setup.exe" file. The directory where Setup.exe file is,,
    e.g.C:\DCP1200DRV\ver100\usa\disk1\setup.exe
    
16. Click "Next".
17. Click "Next".
18. Click "Next".
19. Click "Yes".
20. Click "Next".
21. Please read the "README" file and close the wordpad application.
22. Click "OK". The Windows2000 driver has been installed.
