The Parallel drivers can be un-installed form your PC by performing the following
procedure. You must have Administrator rights to un-install the drivers.
NOTE:Please ignore the model name "MFC7150C" in the instructions. The Model Name varies on your model.
- Plug the Parallel cable.
- Go to the Printers folder under the Start/Settings selection.
- Select the Brother MFC7150C Printer Driver Icon.
- Delete the Icon by selecting File/delete.
- "Are you sure you want to delete these files now" will appear. Click YES.
- Open the Print Server Properties by selecting File/Server Properties.
- Click on the Drivers tab.
- Select the "Brother MFC7150C", then click REMOVE.
AND The MFC7150CINF file must be deleted to complete the un-install.
- Under c:\winnt\inf folder, find the "OEMx.inf" and "OEMx.pnf" file pairs (x is a number).
- Open each "OEMx.inf" and "OEMx.pnf" file pair and see if the "MFC7300C" is in one of the file pairs.
- Delete the three "OEMx.inf" and "OEMx.pnf" file pairs which have the "MFC7300C" listed.
HINT: If you can not see these files or folders in Windows Explorer, you may need to
change your settings in Explorer.
- Under Folder Options for Windows Explorer select "View".
- Add a check mark to "Show hidden files and folders"
- Remove the check mark from "Hide file extensions for known file types".
