Any models that are not listed here are
not supported in Windows Vista®.

Brother DOES NOT recommend you use Windows NT,
Windows® 2000
or Windows® XP driver under Windows Vista®.

Even if your Brother Product name does not appear in the list of
Brother printers in Windows Vista®, it does NOT
mean your product does not have Windows Vista® "built-in"
drivers (Inbox drivers).

If your device is connected by parallel cable to a PC running
Vista® only
printing is supported by the operating system. For this reason we strongly
recommend
you use the USB or network connection when connecting Multi-Function devices.

The "built-in" drivers do
not support network scanning. To use this function, you need to install
the Brother original drivers.

PC-FAX sending, Manual Duplex and Quick Print Setup features do not work
from within Internet Explorer 7.0.

These drivers are recommended
for use with Vista® as they have the full functionality of drivers released by Brother for previous

You can use the HL-720 "built-in" driver (Inbox driver).
For HL-1850/1870N Users:
PCL driver is not supported, use the BR-Script driver and install using the "Add a printer" wizard.
For HL-8050N Users:
Please use the BR-Script driver (Brother HL-8050N BR-Script3) and install using
the "Add a printer" wizard.
For HL-1030 and HL-1230 Users:
Please use the "Brother HL-1430" driver and install using the "Add a printer" wizard.
For HL-2600CN, HL-2700CN, HL-3450CN, HL-4000CN and HL-4200CN Users:
Please install the buit-in driver using the "Add a printer" wizard.
