  Brother found a problem printing under Windows Vista® using the "built-in" drivers or the Brother original drivers for HL-6050D and HL-6050DN.

• 06/Mar/07:
  Released Brother original Scanner Utility (Scanner Resolution Improvement Tool (WIA)) for Windows Vista®. This tool will expand the maximum scanning resolution capability and allow you to scan legal size documents.

[NOTES]

• Any models that are not listed here are not supported in Windows Vista®.

• Brother DOES NOT recommend you use Windows NT, Windows® 2000 or Windows® XP driver under Windows Vista®.

• Even if your Brother Product name does not appear in the list of Brother printers in Windows Vista®, it does NOT mean your product does not have Windows Vista® "built-in" drivers (Inbox drivers).

• If you wish to receive automated email notification when Windows Vista® drivers are available for your specific model please go to our Driver Notification Request page.

• If your device is connected by parallel cable to a PC running Vista®, only printing is supported by the operating system. For this reason we strongly recommend you use the USB or network connection when connecting Multi-Function devices.

• The "built-in" drivers do not support network scanning. To use this function, you need to install the Brother original drivers.

• PC-FAX sending, Manual Duplex and Quick Print Setup features do not work from within Internet Explorer 7.0.
