International Apparel Machinery Trade Show 2008

Brother Industries, Ltd. (President: Toshikazu Koike) will display our products at the International Apparel Machinery Trade Show (JIAM 2008 Singapore) to be held in Singapore over four days from Tuesday May 13 to Friday May 16, 2008.
The International Apparel Machinery Trade Show is hosted by the Japan Sewing Machinery Manufacturers Association (JASMA) and is held every three years. This show draws attention from all over the world as an event where the latest apparel machinery and production technologies are introduced. The sewing industry has grown remarkably in recent years in the emerging regions in South Asia and Southeast Asia, and they are actively exporting apparel products to Europe and the United States. Therefore, it is now more necessary than ever to manufacture quality apparel products. Considering these global circumstances, the International Apparel Machinery Trade Show that is usually held in Japan will be held in Singapore, the center of the South Asian and Southeast Asian market economy.

We will introduce our latest machinery and environmental activities based on achievements and
technologies accumulated over 100 years since inauguration.

As the Brother Group celebrates its 100th year in business this year, we will display the latest sewing machines developed utilizing technologies and experience cultivated over the past 100 years, under the concept of “Connecting history to future.” We will also display and demonstrate machines that feature excellent cost performance as well as high productivity and quality sewing, to provide a variety of solutions to customers visiting our booth. In addition, we will introduce our environment-oriented activities.
We would like visitors to be highly interested in Brother’s products by understanding our advanced technology and future orientation, and feel reassurance in using our products continuously.
