All of Brother’s computer connectable label printers are supplied with advanced label printing software in the box as standard. In addition to this software, there are other professional solutions available for download, or from your local Brother office.

b-PAC SDK for Windows based PC's
Add the benefits of P-touch label printing directly from within your own existing software, or create your own totally customised labelling applications. By using the b-PAC SDK (Software Development Kit), your labels can contain any combination of text, barcodes, images and logo's.

 
P-touch Labelling Solution for Microsoft Visio
Most of the shapes contained in your Visio drawings relate to real-world objects. Many of these require identification to assist in asset management or installation. Using this plug-in for Visio, quickly and easily print P-touch labels to affix onto the required objects. This is an excellent demonstration of the powerful solutions that can be made with the b-PAC SDK.

Visitor ID
A highly featured visitor management solution, developed for use with the Brother QL range of label printers.
  • Visitor badge information is printed on a Brother QL label printer using b-PAC.
  • The printed badges can also include a photograph of the individual using a PC connected camera, and a barcode for quick sign-in/sign-out.
  • Print detailed reports showing visits to the company.
  • Check which visitors are signed in at present, and print an emergency report with this information in case of fire etc.
SAP R/3
Label printing can be added to SAP R/3 applications. By integrating the powerful features of Brother's b-PAC SDK with SAP ABAP applications, text, barcodes and images can all be printed onto high-quality Brother labels when required.
