Firefox User on Windows : Minimum System Requirements

In order to use the Brother CreativeCentre in Firefox on Windows, you need to have one of the following applications and operating systems on your computer:

• Firefox 1.5 or higher
• Windows XP or Windows Vista

Instructions to install/upgrade the Firefox plug-in on Windows

By installing the Firefox plug-in on your computer, you will be able to use the Brother CreativeCentre. Please read the instructions below on how to install and use the plug-in.

• Download the Brother CreativeCentre Package

In order to use the Brother CreativeCentre, you need to:

1. 1. Make sure this site is allowed to install add-ons in your browser.
2. 2. Install the Firefox plug-in package.
3. 3. Download and install the Brother CreativeCentre package.

1. Select Tools | Options in your Firefox browser window.





2. Go to the "Security" tab, and click the "Exceptions" button.





3. Add http://www.brother.com to the "Address of web site" window. Click "Allow".
   Add http://a1295.g.akamai.net to the "Address of web site" window. Click "Allow" and "Close".





4. Click OK to save your new settings.


5. You may need to restart Firefox.

2. Install the Firefox plug-in package

Install Firefox plugin. Click Install Firefox plugin to install it.

Firefox on Windows Vista

• To install Firefox plugin on Vista, Firefox must be run as administrator.

3. Download and install the Brother CreativeCentre package

You need to install this package the first time you visit this site, or when there's an upgrade version. Click Download the Brother CreativeCentre Package, then choose "Run" to install the control.

Note: If you have already installed this package in your Internet Explorer,it is not necessary to install it again.

Based on the network connection, the approximate time to download and install is:

• 56K Modem: 20 minutes
• 1M WAN: 2 minutes
• 2M WAN: 1 minutes

Note: Clear your web browser’s cache if you experience difficulties opening a design template.
