At the 16 manufacturing facilities that the Brother Group operates around the world, we are working closely with partners such as parts suppliers and strengthening manufacturing processes and quality control systems, so as to produce high quality products. Products are delivered to customers through 51 sales facilities. And, via online support over the Internet and call centers, we are providing customers with swift cordial support so as to make each individual satisfied. (as of June 2011)

The "New Brother Production System" was established to improve the QCD (Quality, Cost and Delivery) management system. This system, which eliminates waste across the board from parts procurement to processing, assembly and shipping, was initially introduced in Japan, and now it is being taken over in other Asian bases. This has effectively resulted in a vast reduction of parts inventory and improvements to production efficiency on a per-person basis. In addition, we focus on human resource training at oversea factories. Themes such as "production control" and "assembly" are undertaken for training, and the training is held at each factory, led by appointed project managers. We also introduced a new evaluation system that focuses on the "visualization" of a factory's achievements. After this system was introduced, employees throughout our factories voluntarily began to hold meetings and exchange their know-how, and we see how employee attitudes towards work are improving.
