All of the Brother Group's manufacturing facilities as well as the sales facilities listed in the table below have acquired ISO 14001 certification (an international standard for environmental management systems) in accordance with the Environmental Action Plan. Environmental conservation activities have been designed in line with the requirements of respective facilities, based on the Global Environmental Policy. When a new business site is established, ISO 14001 certification is immediately obtained after completion and commencement of operations, in order to maximize the effectiveness of environmental conservation activities.
