Due to diverse product lineup, expanded sales area and advanced function development, software development has been becoming more important to support and expand the Brother group's core business: printing business.
With an outward-looking perspective, Brother has decided to establish a new company in Hangzhou which is one of the national high-tech development zones in China in order to enhance its capability to develop software.
The Brother Group will continue developing the application software used for Brother products at this new company. Meanwhile the development department in Japan will further focus on developing essential technology to increase speed to develop and improve operational efficiency in order to meet the diverse needs of global customers in a timely manner.
